In the mid-19th century, when the first English travellers were exploring the largely as yet unclimbed peaks of the Pale di San Martino in the Dolomites, they were struck by their beauty, setting the race to conquer them in motion. Those aristocratic mountaineers were guided by farmers and hunters. In 2021, Peter Moser linked six of the main peaks of the Pale di San Martino in a single day. Inspired by the pioneers of mountaineering, Peter carried out his solo traverse along the historic routes of the first climbers, relying solely on his own experience as a mountain guide.
