Although Florian and Martin Riegler easily have what it takes to be among the best-known sibling teams in contemporary alpinism, they decided early on in their lives to not pursue mountaineering careers. Today, Florian is a successful fruit and wine grower, while Martin earns his living as an architect. But that has not stopped them from climbing at a very high level. Regarding their professions as life-enriching and the mountains as their calling, their most recent achievement was the first ascent of the 8c-graded multi-pitch “Lo Stile di Vita” route in the Nago climbing area.
