Thomas Lämmle climbed eight-thousanders like Mount Everest without breathing apparatus. After narrowly surviving a serious accident with a paraglider, it was doubtful whether he would ever walk again. But giving up was not an option for the mountaineer and high-altitude explorer. He started training again with the ambitious goal of climbing Kilimanjaro again – on crutches if need be. In 2021, he teams up with group of mountaineers to climb Africa’s highest peak once more.
