The festival’s exhibition area offers every year new attractions : You will find information and advice from the professionals of mountain sports equipment, tips on sports travel, photography , binoculars and, of course, the cosy café area where the signature sessions will also take place, as well as an exclusive alpine exhibition – so there will be something for everyone!

“Gipfelstürmen! 360°”
The very successful special exhibition “Gipfelstürmen! Styrian Expeditions to the Roof of the World” at Trautenfels Castle ended on 31 October 2021.
This exhibition, curated by alpinist and festival founder Hans-Robert Schauer and designed by Michi Pletz, showed adventurous stories of ascents and discoveries by Styrians who were on their way to the highest mountains in Asia. They undertook demanding journeys in the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan, in the Karakorum in Pakistan and in the Himalayan mountains in Nepal and Tibet.
During its duration, the entire exhibition was photographed with 3D cameras and then transformed into a 360° show. Now visitors can wander through the exhibition rooms online and zoom in on the objects, including their descriptions. Gipfelstürmen! 360°” will be presented in the exhibitor area of Mountainfilm Graz and on the festival’s website mountainfilm.com.
