As an international film festival, Mountainfilm Graz organizes the competition for filmmakers focusing on outdoor productions.

Films can now be submitted in the following categories:

“Alpinism & Expeditions”

“Sports in Mountain & Nature”

“Nature & Environment”

“People & Cultures”

Both feature and short films, documentaries and fictional productions dealing with festival themes are welcome!

The submission period lasts until May 31, 2024. 

The decision on the technical and content-related suitability for the competition will be made by a preliminary jury and will be announced by e-mail in September 2024.
