“Þetta reddast” is Icelandic, not easy to pronounce and means something like “It is how it is”. The South Tyrolean alpinist Tamara Lunger is known for her determination, with several eight-thousanders under her belt. Leaning back and accepting fate was never her style. But when fate struck hard, she lost her love of the mountains. Now she means to reclaim her life with the one person she trusts the most: Travelling through rugged Iceland with her father, she finally realises the beauty of the old Icelandic saying.
