Professional photographer and mountaineer, journalist and author of numerous books, Mario Colonel has been based in Chamonix for 42 years, and is now embarking on his latest photo campaign. Familiar with the most beautiful spots on the Mont Blanc massif, and himself affected by the climate change that is impacting the most beautiful mountains, he invites us to follow him on the paths of altitude. On his journey, he meets a host of characters, including an old guide, a philosopher, mountaineers, environmental activists, a painter, a sociologist and a refuge keeper.
