This debut film of a scientist turned filmmaker documents the last two years of his former doctoral supervisor’s career. In professor Luca Rossi’s research on wolves, emotion soon overtake the facts as he navigates his way through the controversial debate between the proponents and opponents of wolf populations in the wild. While shepherds fear for their animals and hope for support, elsewhere there are mysteries to be solved about wolves that have been killed or wolf hybrids to be kept in check.
