Alexander Huber: Zeit zum Atmen / Multimedialer Vortrag

Professional alpinist, speed climber, physicist, farmer, father – Alexander Huber is many things. Less well known is his talent for music. With his Concerto vertical and the cellist Burkhard Weber, Alexander brought the sound of classical music to the Heidenpfeiler pillar in the German Palatinate Forest. In his lecture, Time to Breathe, the extreme climber paints a multi-faceted picture of modern alpinism. With spectacular climbing scenes, he takes us to rock pillars and overhangs in the Karakoram range and in Europe. And since the Stefaniensaal at Congress Graz is also a concert hall, it is only fitting that Alexander should also give a musical performance! As for his life on the world’s steepest faces, he takes a philosophical view: “It’s not the mountain that you conquer; it’s always your own self.

The lecture lasts 90 minutes. Alexander Huber will be available to sign autographs during the 30-minute break.
