Mountainfilm Graz 2025 Review

Another successful festival has come to an end and, as every year, there are countless wonderful memories.

This year’s programme included 93 films in four categories, a multimedia presentation that took us to the most inhospitable corners of the earth, and a visit from the exceptional Austrian climber Jakob Schubert.

And as a final highlight, there was the award ceremony followed by the Long Night of Mountain Films.

Congratulations to all the winners!

The large and enthusiastic audience filled the auditoriums at the Schubertkino and Congress Graz, bringing the festival to life.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to everyone who visited us!

We, the festival team, are already getting down to work and looking forward to an anniversary next year. Mountainfilm Graz will be celebrating its 40th birthday in 2026!
